मैं एक दिन एक किताब लिखूंगा, जिसके हर पन्ने पर तुझे, अपने साथ लिखूंगा। एक लंबी सी रात, और वो न ख़त्म होने वाली हमारी मुलाक़ात लिखूंगा। बड़ा सा चाँद, ठंडी ठंडी हवाएं, तेरा हाथ, मेरे हाथ में लिखूंगा। तेरी भीगी जुल्फ़ों की ख़ुशबू, तेरे होने से मेरे होने की हर धड़कन लिखूंगा। जो रोम-रोम में समाया है, उसके बिछड़ जाने का एहसास लिखूंगा। तू क्यों न हो सका मेरा, ये सवाल लिखूंगा। मैं तो तेरा था सदा, बस यही ख़याल लिखूंगा। और हाँ... जब मेरी क़लम थक जाएगी, तेरे नाम से ही उसे सांस दूंगा। मैं एक दिन.... सिर्फ़ तेरा ख़याल लिखूंगा।
